I've come to accept that there are no more original ideas in the world and decided to combine two already existing ideas to manifest my own: the Predator's prey. I've always wanted to make a creature from the skull I keep seeing in Predator 2.

I took the shape of the largest skull from Predator 2 and used the body from and based this creature off of those two concepts.

I had the animal's evolution in mind the entire time I was thinking of body structure and adaptations.

Backstory:

This unknown carnivore lives in the trees of its home planet. It is a solitary thing only gather with others of its kind to mate and bear offspring. Permanent couples can from and are most beneficial.
The tails are of the same color as the vegetation and the creature itself is perfect at comoflauge that borders on that of a chameleon. It hunts by lieing in wait with its tails in various positions waiting for an unsuspecting victim to start to nibble on it or to walk across it. The prey is quickly swept up and constricted but the large jaws of this creature end the prey's life. It has been known to use the same method in fishing, its large, sharp claws perfect for slippery prey.
The four wide set eyes denote an herbivore but are better for judging distance and keeping a wide range of sight in case of threats. These threats aren't many and have been thus far limited it to other members of its species.
The diminuative nostrils tell us that its sense of smell is not important but rather sound is; the large throat sack is used like that of a frog to amplify its mating call. In relation to making this ample sounds it has four long appendages on its head that hide its sensitive ears.

I've decided that I will kill two birds with one stone and have this as a trade for and also let my husban's friend, Chris, use this creature if he likes it. He's developing a little pixel game and asked if I could do some alien concepts. I'm not very good at non-humanoid things so this is really streching the boundaries for me. There's no garuntee that he will like this for his game.
